Love it really much! Coup is really fun to play, either with AI or random players. It's easy to understand the instructions and the gameplay is challenging. And its free! Still wondering why not many people install this game. I never played the real board version of Coup so im glad u made an app of it. Not encountering any problems, yet (thats why i only give 4 stars), I hope u can keep making apps for other board games

The game overall is pretty good. One problem i faced is that after I finish a gama or two, I close the app and after couple of minutes I get a "batch" of notifications related to the games I played. The other thing is that the app can't be closed with the back button, so there is no "exit" unless i tap Home button. One more thing, I suggest making the game a bit faster, no need to have more games simultaneously, one game at a time with 30 seconds turn time would be good. Less card animation might make it better. Full Review

This app tanks my battery life on my Nexus 6p and Nexus 9. It also seems to be running at full tilt when it isn't necessary and causing both devices to heat up quite a bit. It seems you're running on Unity, is there some battery saving features to trigger in the engine? Really fun game

Its brilliantly built, no wonder it doesn't have any competition. Neat work and very well articulated the game. The tutorials are spot on. Matchmaking perfect. Little overloaded with graphics. But still cool. Ads are well organized too EDIT Few suggestions : Introduce a fast mode. Show more transitions when a player draws cards from the deck. Full Review

Good... but I like the app. Good port to mobile device. Unfortu ately, Foreign Aid has been removed from the game entirely which is a pretty important part of Coup. Also, it can be a little difficult trying to track the progress of a game. Especially when you are forced to discard one card (unable to see what others have played during these decisions). Otherwise, a pretty good boardgame port to mobile devices. Full Review

Love this game, but most of the time the app won't find my Facebook friends, even though we've played together before. One night we played 2 games, then when we went to play the 3rd one we could not find each other. We wasted time trying over and over before giving up. Fix that and it would be a great app. The physical card game is about 5x better though because it's a more social experience when everyone isn't staring at their phones. Full Review

I didn't know anything about the game when I downloaded it, and there is no explanation within the app about the stupid energy system they use. You start off with 150 energy. Each game costs 50 energy. You can play 3 quick games for free, then it's $1 for 1000 energy points. As far as I'm aware, that's the only way to get energy. You may get some if you win, but I'll never know. Spent my first 3 games trying to understand everything, since the tutorial is really quick and doesn't explain everything. I won't be spending money on energy. Also, there is a "free energy" button where I assume you watch ads or something, but since it doesn't respond to me tapping on it I can't try it out. The gameplay itself is decent though. Full Review

A simplified version There's a good attempt to get a similar game experience, though the removal of foreign aid impacts the dynamic of the game a lot. The two player rules are also amiss. The ads are a bit intrusive. Also it may have been a better idea to have a reputation-gaining activity instead of the Active tab. Also the 1st tutorial is in Completed but I never got the achievement points. Full Review

4 stars. At first, it locked up on the sign in screen, but after a few times of opening it, it worked :) I wish you rd didn't have to buy the original cards though. I may buy them in the future. Good game overall, but I would definitely recommend buying the real game over this. Good job for porting it over to Android though!

First, the physical game Coup is 6 out of 5. Love it. This app fails to sign in half of the time. No offline option against AI. Way too graphically involved. Wanted something simple and quick loading. Just buy the game and forget this app. A Web page text version that I've played is better than this app. Full Review

Love it all the deduction and deception. I wish you folks would make a coup: rebellion app please think about it then make it happen. I love all the decks although I would love to see some classic style cards with block print style art-deco. Just a suggestion. Coup is alot of fun once you get the hang of it. Full Review

Alot of fun Absolutley enjoy the home game andni n have the expansions for it. The only problem with this free to play game is that you have to pay or watch ads to earn in game credits to be able to play a game at all. It should either have a paid version of this game or the game gives you free credits based on a time limit. Be wary here for that reason. Otherwise a fantastic game and the achievement system is definately a fun addition to the challenge the game provides. Full Review

It's almost perfect but my friends and I have been having a lot of trouble getting a game together. We tried the email, contacts, and even logging in through Facebook with no luck. And my friend was the one who showed me the game so it's a real bummer. The game is fun; I just can't play with anyone other than strangers online. Full Review

I wanted to play in a group match, so i open one up with 50 reps. Then it suddenly says 1000000000+ reps, so i instantlt leave the match, because i thought i did something wrong. Now i have 1000000000+ reps that i didnt have before, and now im really confused. I appreciate it, but their not really mine. I didnt pay money for them Full Review

There is no audible alert that a game is beginning, so you have to stare at your phone or else the game will start with no warning then you'll be booted for not acting in time. There is also no countdown timer for making Allow/Challenge decisions, but sometimes you get booted from the game for running out time. Very frustrating. Full Review

Can't beat free! I'd give it 5 but the ads are just a bit too intrusive for my tastes. When it interrupts gameplay on a timed turn, kind of a nuisance. Still, a great game and a good way to try out before buying the physical version. Full Review

Great concept. Horrible bug that makes that whole game unplayable where the time doesn't count down properly so you don't know if it's your turn You cant access completed games without crashing as well. Full Review

Just like the tabletop version, albeit with less of the table talk and bribes. Multiple card styles so you can play with the cards you know or the free, cartoony characters. I miss being able to read people's faces so it makes it harder but it's just as addicting. At minimum it's worth the free download, at most buy all the customizations. Full Review

This could be a top app with more work due to the solid game underneath this pile of shoddy multiplayer bugs. If you are playing with friends you know it is perfect. if timed games with random matches you will be very disappointed. Full Review

Excellent representation Of the physical game. Crashes a lot though. EDIT: I clearly spoke too soon. This app is buggy as all get out. When paying for a match, they often will multiply (and make you pay for each) which is just annoying when the matches work correctly, but quite often they don't. They will hang or often just randomly boot you. This was the first app I had considered spending money on in over a year, not anymore though. Serious work needs to be done. Full Review

Fun game, but app has issues. This is a great and really fun game, but the app itself has major issues. There have been way too many times where I choose a match, and while it's waiting on opponents the app will freeze. So I try to close it out, and while it's loading the game back, I get notifications that I'm in a match and it's my turn, but I can't get into the game! And then time runs out and I end up getting booted from the game that I spent rep on! Also, there is no foreign aid, and that sucks. Full Review

Coup is such a fun game. Five stars for graphics because i love the fun spin on the players and the cards. Four stars for game play because it can be confusing on whether i need to challenge first in order to block. Four stars because i wish i didn't have to buy the classic cards. Over all, love the app. Easy to navigate and the tutorials at the beginning are a great idea. Full Review

Updated review: A good implementation of a very fun game. I do still miss the foreign aid action from the original, but not as much as I did at first. Submitting an update (downgrade) based on online play. It's great when it works well, but sometimes the lag to the server is so bad that you get booted for your turn time expiring. If this is fixed, I would upgrade to 5 stars. Full Review

The app is very well designed and gameplay progresses smoothly. I deducted one star because my only gripe is that it's missing the move to 'request foreign aid'. If they fix that, I'll change to 5-stars. Full Review

Doesn't work Half of the buttons I push (steal, assassinate, coup, and chat) glitch and crash every time I try to use them. Completely ruins the point of the game. Please fix. Full Review

Terrible implementation of a great game It's a pity, because the gameplay itself would be good, but everything is so unbearably slow (I guess due to slow backend servers). A simple login takes around 5 minutes. Full Review

Amazing physical board game. This adaptation of it very good but it is missing foreign aid. This is something that is not used all the time but can be part of some good strategies to oust others or hide your intentions. I suggest getting the physical game if you can as it is very cheap. Full Review

Not for beginners I played half a dozen games and I still have no idea what's happening in it. Remembering what each character does isn't too hard but the info ticker in the middle that shows you what's happening doesn't give near enough info. I have no idea who's doing what to who. Full Review

Certain combinations of cards are near impossible to beat regardless of whether you bluff or not. For example, starting first with Captain and Duke is very difficult to beat, except in a very small set of circumstances. Overall, the 1v1 game just seems quite unbalanced and a bit predictable given the small number of characters, but perhaps that is just me. I suppose the game gets better once you include more players, but ain't nobody got time for that. Full Review

Ratings inflated by gameplay incentive. The real intrigue of this game is in trying to read your opponents strategy over time. Playing with faceless strangers or practice games vs. questionable AI is pointless and boring. Stick to the real game.... Full Review

The game play doesn't work properly. The last game I lost, I challenged the opponent for having a Contessa when I was going for an assassination and had to reveal my last. I stick around to see the of the game and my other opponent beats him with an assassin and was revealed the that opponent I lost to didn't even have a Contessa in the first place!!! Not the first time this happens and it's super frustrating!! Glitches I can forgive, but if the game play isn't executed properly it doesn't warrant a great rating as everyone else says here
April 14, 2017
When I challenge blocks I always lose a card even when the player is bluffing. Love the game otherwise, I'm a big fan of the card game, which makes this glitch even more frustrating. I'll change my rating if I stop encountering this or if you address that you know this is going on. Full Review

Game randomly shuts down and you lose your rep. If opponent doesn't take their turn within time nothing happens and if they still don't go, you eventually have to exit (concede) and you lose rep. Get "an error occurred during your move please try again later" message, time out, get booted and lose rep. Don't pay a cent, you'll get ripped off. Full Review

Very fun, with a couple of issues. This game is very fun. It's can be fairly fast-paced but still maintains some strategy. However, I've encountered two issues. The first one is that if I send a random game request and then start a "practice" game, the game often crashes when it finds a human opponent. Second, if it doesn't crash upon finding an opponent, it sometimes doesn't notify me that it found you an opponent and it times me out and you lose. Fixing those minor issues would make this a definite 5 star rating. Full Review
